About the Company
Join a team of operational infrastructure service specialists who run and maintain a fleet of special-purpose vehicles across Australia. With ongoing projects and growth opportunities (both organic and through acquisitions), this role supports the Head of Commercial in all aspects of commercial decision-making.
The Role
Are you ready to hit the ground running in a diverse role that involves everything from weekly BI reporting, modelling, tender management, M&A support, business-case development, to capital assessments and stakeholder management? This exciting, newly created position reports directly to the Head of Commercial.
Key Responsibilities Over the Next 2-3 Years
Tender Management: Lead the creation of competitive business tender models, assist in tender submissions, and perform thorough capital assessments to support strategic board decisions.
M&A Support: Provide critical support for M&A transactions, including comprehensive market analysis, due diligence, and robust business case development to ensure successful acquisitions.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct high-impact analyses for the CEO, CCO, and Board, delivering tailored reports that drive strategic and commercial decisions.
Commercial Insights: Partner with the management team to deliver deep commercial insights into business operations, focusing on key performance metrics that drive revenue and profitability.
Analytical Systems Enhancement: Continuously improve analytical systems to support operational performance and financial growth, driving key metrics for commercial success.
Digital Transformation: Lead the digitalization of business processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with stakeholders to implement innovative process changes that enhance commercial outcomes.
About You
Ideally, you are CA/CFA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years of experience in a commercial role within a complex operational business. Your advanced technical skills include financial modelling (Excel), business case development, market analysis, data/statistical analysis, data visualization, and outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
You thrive on supporting strategic initiatives, are curious, forward-thinking, and always looking for ways to progress and bring stakeholders along on the journey.
