- Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Executive Directors and Senior Leadership Team members, to foster collaborative and effective engagement.
- Driving cross-functional collaboration and promoting effective ways of working to ensure a mutual understanding of the importance of performance reporting across the organisation.
- Partnering with the organisation during the Annual Business Planning Cycle, ensuring alignment and accountability through the Accountability Framework.
- Collaborating with senior leaders to continuously improve the business planning process and embedding it into the organisation's operations.
- Coordinating strategic discussions and planning activities with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Assisting in the development of annual strategic priorities, KPIs, and standards of performance for assigned directorates.
- Leading the operational tracking of performance KPIs and reporting, providing strategic guidance and ensuring quality and timely delivery of organisation performance reporting.
- Facilitating monthly content collation for the City's performance forum (Business Review Meeting), focusing on quality control and continuous improvement.
- Engaging in discussions with senior leaders regarding the development, refinement, and review of organisational performance indicators.
- Supporting the development of strategy briefing templates under the guidance of the Strategy Lead.
To be successful in this role, you will have…
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Experience in strategic planning and performance reporting within a municipal or government context is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Integrated Planning and Reporting Software systems is an advantage.
