• $67,008 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + super (up to 12%) + leave loading

Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream B) - Level 5 of the EBA5 * 9 day fortnight

• 76 hour fortnight
• Location: Arana Hills

About our opportunityThis position will have you operating medium sized plant/equipment daily, predominantly using the 15.5 T GVM Road Sweeper to provide scheduled street sweeping services for the City of Moreton Bay! You will be responsible for undertaking the daily checks on the plant and equipment each day as well as carrying out any basic maintenance required and reporting any defects through to our workshop.About youTo be successful in this position ideally you will have demonstrated experience operating a similar sized Street Sweeper or similar type of plant. You will bring your time management skills and adequate numeracy, written and verbal communication skills to sufficiently undertake administrative duties as necessary for the role, read safety instructions, plans and to effectively communicate with team members and the public.We are focused on delivering on our corporate values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and Sustainability, and we are seeking people who resonate with these values.Paired with the above mentioned skills and experience, you will also hold:

• a current truck licence (minimum class - MR)
• an Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC) certification - or willing to obtain within 6 months
• a Construction Induction Card - or willing to obtain prior to commencement
