The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City’s important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects.
This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City’s sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling’s vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.
About the Position
The Parks and Reserves team play an integral role in enhancing the lifestyle of residents by providing parks and public places with a variety of recreational activities. As a key member of our Parks and Reserves team, you’ll do work that matters to the community who use our parks & facilities.
This role is responsible for;
- All streetscape maintenance including edging, line trimming, blower vac, turf maintenance, mowing, green waste collection and fencing repairs
- Operate mowing equipment including commercial mower and line trimmer
- Monitor and coordinate service and repair requirements for the plant and equipment
- Chainsaw ticket and relevant experience
- Under pruning
- Carrying out some sodding
- General rubbish pick up and collection
About You
In addition, to be considered for this role, you’ll possess the following skills and/or qualifications:
- Experience working in a similar role and
- Being an enthusiastic team member with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated understanding of occupational health and safety practices
- Experience with industry-relevant plant and equipment

This temporary full-time position is a Level 5 Outside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $68,405 - $71,518 gross pro rata per annum.
