This is a full-time, Structural Engineering opportunity with a well respected engineering firm. As a Structural Engineer, your role will be to provide technical expertise on a wide variety of multi-storey residential, aged care, commercial or industrial structural projects incorporating the use of a spectrum of construction materials including timber, reinforced concrete and structural steel. Regular customer meetings and site visits during the project is required to ensure a positive result is achieved. This is a rare opportunity, offering excellent career progression opportunities and broad project exposure.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Full working rights in Australia either Citizenship / Permanent Residency;
- You are self-motivated and able to work in a team;
- You have 1-5 years’ of relevant experience in structural engineering using a variety of software platforms;
- A relevant tertiary engineering qualification;
- Multi-storey building related experience is essential for this role;
- Experience in reinforced or post-tensioned concrete and steel design is essential;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Good technical knowledge of Australian Standards; and
- Local Government Regulation knowledge.
