Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join my client down in Geelong. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while being mentored by experienced professionals. As a Junior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in contributing to the design, analysis, and implementation of structural solutions across a range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality structural designs for Education, Commercial, Modular, and Residential projects.
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
- Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders as required.
- Assist in site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in Structural Engineering, preferably within consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Spacegass, Toolkit, RAPT, ETABS or similar.
- Strong understanding of Australian design codes and standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
