SalaryWe are currently seeking a Structural Engineer with ideally 5 years + local consulting experience. Our client specialises in the commercial, residential and industrial sector therefore the successful candidate will have proven experience working on projects such as mixed used developments, schools, high residential and industrial development building projects
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Structural/ Civil.
- Minimum 5 years’ Structural Engineering experience gained within a consultancy environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the design of projects in the residential, commercial, retail and industrial sectors.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Sound knowledge and application of Australian Standard design codes, relevant design techniques and construction procedures and techniques.
- Experience in the use of software such as RC Buildings, Space Gass, Rapt, Slabs, PT 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Must have excellent presentation and communication skills as these are essential for client liaison.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and liaise with the drafting team, fellow engineers, architects and design managers.
- Proven track record of working to tight deadlines and within budget.
- Be enthusiastic and committed to facilitating client needs
- Must demonstrate initiative and be a team player
