Form of workGreat opportunity for a RPEQ qualified - Structural Engineer based in Brisbane to join a global company on an initial 12 month contract (possibility to extend) base in Brisbane Port area.
Seeking a middle experienced Structural Engineer - 5 to 10 years experience.
- Essential to be RPEQ Certified.
Scope of Work:
The main scope of work would be to own the Inspection and Engineering program for Fireproofing , Structures and Access Areas, as well as Structural Engineering requests.
Duties:
- Management and Continuous improve the Fireproofing and Structure Assets Register /Map to match it with the actual configuration of the site and changes.
- Inspection of Fireproofing and Structural Assets following the established program according to asset criticalities.
- Issuance of Structural and Fireproofing scopes of work and report on Ad-Hoc and Program -based basis
- Communication with maintenance and execution teams , to drive maintenance and repairs.
- Communication with third party companies, to drive Engineering studies and Assessments.
- Inspection and Engineering Management of Walkway and Access Areas.
- Full ownership of Structural Engineering , Fireproofing and Civil Engineering requests.
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland - RPEQ certification
- Structural Engineering Drafting.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry - preferred
- Experience in Inspection of Fireproofing & Structural Assets
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
