The role
Due to growth within their structures division in Brisbane they are currently searching for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with structural steel expertise for a role to work on a range of industrial and steel framed buildings projects within QLD.
Working closely with the QLD Buildings Lead, this role will work across a range of projects within commercial and industrial structures.
You will produce and oversee / manage detailed and concept design as well as guiding and mentorship of junior staff whilst also contributing to the overall culture of the team.
The responsibilities
- Detailed design of building structures projects
- Mentorship of younger team members
- Coordination with national structures team
- Site visits
- Project management
- Client interface
The requirements
- Degree in Structural Engineering
- RPEQ preferred
- Experience in the structural design using steel
- Interest in client facing
- Desire to take a lead on projects
