Form of workJS Welding Services is a locally owned medium-sized structural steel fabrication company, located in the heart of Townsville. We have been in operation since 2010 and have an excellent reputation for producing quality large-scale projects. Our customers are predominantly builders and developers who produce commercial buildings such as hospitals, schools and retail outlets.
The workshop foreman will be responsible for running a team of between 20-30 tradespeople. From receiving deliveries to overseeing the fabrication of the projects, you will be supported by a hard working, experienced team of tradespeople.
Essential requirements for this role;
- 10+ years Steel Fabrication background.
- Experience supervising / managing workshop crew.
- Strong ability to lead, manage and motivate workshop staff.
- Experience implementing project schedules, timelines, QA and OH&S.
- Highly developed communication skills.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards relating to fabrication & Welding.
- Ability to work under pressure.
