Things You’ll Do:

• Assist in the assessment and determination of development applications as directed.
• Gain experience in statutory planning, learning how to apply relevant legislation and council policies to development proposals
• Contribute to planning and decision making processes in the formulation of planning strategies and be involved the assessment of development proposals with regard to their potential impact on the natural, built and social environment with specific consideration to planning matters.

The Fine Print:

• Salary: $50,048 - $55,191 gross p.a. plus superannuation
• Hours of work: Temporary Full time for 12 months working 35 hrs per week, with option a 19 day month flexitime
• This position has been created to enable Student Planners to gain relevant industry work experience and/or complete their course requirements of 48 weeks related work experience in their Bachelor degree.
