Mewing Planning Consultants is calling for expressions of interest for Town Planning roles across a variety of levels. Both full and part-time applicants are welcome to apply.

About the Opportunity
This call for EOIs presents an opportunity to join a thriving consultancy engaged in the development of diverse, exciting projects across Queensland. The role/s are located at our office located at 340 Adelaide St, Brisbane City.
We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants, and are taking submissions with all levels of experience for consideration of the following roles:
- Principal Town Planner;
- Senior Town Planner;
- Town Planner;
- Graduate Town Planner; and
- Student Town Planner.
Depending on your experience, role responsibilities may include:
- Preparation, lodgement and management of development applications;
- Involvement in strategic planning and planning policy projects;
- Review of planning schemes and interpretation of legislation;
- Provision of planning advice across a broad range of local government areas and land use and development types;
- Project management of development applications;
- Working with Council assessment managers, clients and consultant teams to achieve positive planning outcomes;
- Review of development plans and technical reports;
- Assisting and developing junior staff; and
- Contributing to a positive and enjoyable workplace.

- Ability to critically analyse, problem solve and confidently formulate a position;
- Possess a demonstrated ability and willingness to manage a changing workload and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Be enthusiastic and proactive, with a keen interest to learn and be challenged; and
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Remuneration
Remuneration will reflect the level of experience and skillset of the successful applicant/s. We will offer a competitive package for the right candidate.
