Founded in 1993, APAC has a rich history as a high-quality Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training (VET) provider to aspiring talent in the creative arts industry.
APAC delivers Bachelor level qualifications in Acting, Song and Dance and Screen Production. APAC is committed to encouraging its students to embrace their unique backgrounds and perspectives to explore their creativity in a supportive community of like-minded emerging artists.
Job DetailsWe are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to start in this exciting entry-level position in APAC who can embody their values of creativity, resilience, excellence and diversity.
You will be mentored by industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework provided by our very own Registered Training Organisation, MiTraining.
Undertaking this 12-month traineeship and BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) will give you the opportunity to put theory into practice and gain valuable experience in the workplace to set you up for a successful career.
In this traineeship you will learn how to:
- Meet and warmly greet all visitor to APAC and see all clients as a future student
- Provide administrative support to various departments and executives as needed
- Maintain and organise accurate records of student and faculty information
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and meetings
- Ensure compliance steps are adhered to and assist in applying quality assurance measures to improve Student Services
- Full time 12-month contract including paid and personal leave
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Access to 1:1 mentoring

We’re looking for motivated applicants who are committed to completing a formal qualification in Business Administration and bring:
- Strong interest and passion for the performing arts
- Mature and responsible work ethic
- Sound computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evening and weekends as required for events
- Previous experience in event planning or customer service is a plus
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
