The role:
The Student Support Advisor is one of the first points of contact for students via phone, email, and live chat, navigating a range of current student queries. These include general enrolment, technical assistance and enquiries relating to college and course processes. Additionally, this role aims to engage and re-engage our diverse student cohort throughout the student journey, from onboarding through to graduation.
The Student Support Team are built on a foundation of trust and dedication, working for one another to make a significant difference to the student experience. They support students and each other by balancing professionalism, passion, and perseverance. This balance extends from the everyday student experience through to re-engagement, projects, team building activities, continued training, and development opportunities to further drive success.
This role is one of the most crucial within the business. Our Student Support Advisors are selected with experience from a variety of backgrounds, and multiple skillsets. Our Advisors are dedicated to deliver on quality experiences for our students and prioritize our values of putting the student first.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience within a customer service or administrative focused role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work within a structured role, and display initiative
- An ability to build rapport with students
- Ability to build self-esteem in students
- Ability to experiment with technology and new ways of working to provide the student with the best options to suit their needs
- Proactive and team-centric attitude
- Availability for different shift patterns
The position is a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover, you must be available to work full-time hours (in a hybrid work environment), from Monday to Friday between 9 am-6 pm (AEST). Shifts will vary from week to week, rosters are prepared in advance.
