Veritus Research is an exciting new clinical trial business for First in Human, Phase 1 and vaccine clinical trials.
Veritus Research is looking for a Study Start-up Manager to lead the Trial Advancement Team (TAT) at our state-of-the-art clinical trials facility in Bayswater, Victoria. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced Study Start-up professional, to build their own team and create effective processes.
Reporting to the COO, and working very closely with the Project Teams, the Study Start-up Manager will oversee the regulatory and contractual obligations of clinical trials, whilst utilising the expertise of the wider team, to ensure Veritus Research remains the site of choice for Sponsors and participants. By nurturing the relationships between internal and external clinical trial stakeholders, the role safeguards the financial viability of the company.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Implementing a robust reporting system to deliver real time metrics relating to the scope of work completed by the Trial Advancement Team (TAT) by end of 2024
- Build a Trial Advancement Team to ensure start up activities are in line with both business and Sponsor objectives
- Critically review current budget and CTRA documents ensuring alignment and competitiveness with current industry benchmarks
- Have Strategic Awareness that guides your daily work
- Lead Start-up processes and guidelines whilst Adhering to external regulatory requirements
- Have the ability to build rapport quickly and easily with clients (sponsors, CROS and external vendors) to aid in an efficient start up process
- Possess detail-oriented qualities to ensure accuracy with all work performed
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve processes and results
- Be exceptionally organised to ensure issues are resolved promptly
- Plan ahead to prevent problems before they arise
If this sounds like you, and you have:
- A sound knowledge of the Australian clinical trials regulations
- Comprehensive experience within all aspects of trial-start up and support activities including CTRA & Budget negotiations, HREC submissions, Vendor Set-Up and Essential Documents
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Medicine, Science (or equivalent)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Australian Residency
