About our role:
WGA has long been highly regarded for our delivery of Water, Wind, Solar and Hydrogen projects thanks to our technically advanced Engineering teams which has ignited a passion for renewable energy and a strong desire to move towards a sustainable future.
With the recent acquisition of our new Group Energy Sector Lead to support and build upon the fantastic efforts of our Regional teams and underpinned by our Strategic Plan, we are looking to further grow our Renewable Energy offering with the addition of a Design Manager experienced in the design and delivery of Substation, renewables or grid connection projects within a Consultancy or Utilities environment.
About you:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to coordinate design packages across multiple disciplines, using your technical understanding to act as the conduit between Lead Contractors, Project Managers and design personnel
- Previous experience within Consulting environment or Owner's Engineering teams
- Proven capability to deliver projects across Wind or substation projects and with exposure at least up to 33kV
- Ability to utilise your understanding of Client requirements and excellent communication skills to act as the go between for our fantastic internal design and delivery teams and our loyal, supportive Client base
- Exposure to cutting edge technology within the Renewable Energy Sector
