Our Operations division have permanent opportunities for multipleSubstation Technicians to join the team located in Brisbane (Berrinba & Geebung depot).
About your new role:
As a Substation Technician you are a highly skilled tradesperson performing construction, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of complex substation plant and associated equipment.
The Substations group is accountable for substation high voltage primary plant maintenance, construction, fault response and the delivery of services.
The remuneration for your new role is from $100,202 plus allowances, plus 12.75% super for a 9-day fortnight.

About you:
Your communication and organisational skills are important as you will be working closely with fellow team members and liaising with stakeholders. Your ability to work in a team environment, develop and maintain good working relationships is essential.
Critical to your success in the role is your:
- Trade qualification with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence or equivalent.
- Experience in high voltage testing, construction and/or maintenance is highly advantageous.
- Relevant industry experience in the installation, repair, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Experience working within substations with some exposure to HV switchgear & operating equipment up to 132kV will be well regarded.
- Current 'C' class open drivers' licence is essential, with a MR or HR licence being an advantage.
- Availability to participate in call out/emergency work as required.
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical.
