We are currently seeking applications from penultimate and final year law students for our upcoming clerkship programme that will be offered during the summer holiday break, commencing prior to Christmas and finishing in the new year. These six-week paid clerkships will involve a range of genuine work and activity on real client instructions. Clerks are supervised by Senior Associates and Associates and are involved in drafting documents, undertaking research, attending client meetings and attending court. Clerks also have the opportunity to attend our professional continuing legal education programme and join in with the firm’s social and charity activities during their time with us.
You will be immersed in the day-to-day activities of a busy firm and will get to experience the friendly and focused environment firsthand, whilst being guided and mentored by experienced practitioners.
We are keen to speak with candidates who have a genuine interest in business, strong initiative and great problem solving skills. You will be engaging, pro-active and eager to learn and develop. The right attitude is essential, as is a positive and enthusiastic approach.
If you have an interest corporate and commercial law, this is an excellent opportunity to gain some hands-on experience in private practice over the University break.
