About the role:
The Control Operations team is currently seeking a Superintendent AHS Control to join them on a Monday to Friday roster based at our Remote Operations Centre (ROC) near the Perth Airport. Reporting to the Manager Control, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating and driving Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) Operational Readiness, system testing and integration activities together with productivity improvements, facilitating the successful roll-out and expansion of Roy Hill's Autonomous Operations.
Duties:
- Lead the identification, planning, and implementation of required operational readiness activities to facilitate the successful roll-out and expansion of the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS)
- Provide technical leadership support for system testing and integration activities
- Manage incident response and troubleshooting for AHS-related issues, minimizing delay time and maintaining production targets
- Drive fleet productivity, identify system improvements and provide guidance and coaching to the Control Team as required
- Support a positive culture within the operational and project teams, through ensuring feedback is heard and project/product updates are clearly communicated
- Liaise with equipment manufacturers and technology vendors to influence and guide product development and implement best practices
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working within mining load and haul process and autonomous haulage systems (control / technical or operational)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Exposure and previous experience working within Fleet Management System (FMS) Operating Models will be highly desirable
- Bachelor of Engineering (mining) or other technical related qualifications will be highly desirable
