Our Lihir operations in PRC – SAOC and Back End are currently in the process of hiring a qualified candidate for the role of Superintendent – Processing. We are actively seeking a highly skilled and operationally proficient Engineer to join our team at the Lihir operation in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be expected to reside on-site residentially.
As a Superintendent, you will be a key contributor to maximising the short and long-term gold production while ensuring the safe conduct of operations.
The preferred candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering, combined with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in mineral processing, including a substantial 5-year tenure in a senior supervisory role. Your qualifications should demonstrate outstanding cross-functional processing proficiency, transitioning from technical expertise to operational leadership. The ideal candidate will be proficient at planning, leading, and overseeing the activities of the processing plant, particularly in the areas of Milling and Autoclaves.
