Our Lihir operation in NPI and Operations Services is now recruiting for the position of Superintendent – Town & Camps, to work at the Lihir operation in Papua New Guinea and to reside residentially on the project.
In the capacity of Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role leading, monitoring, and controlling the operational activities associated with the offices, accommodation camps, township and all associated facilities, messing and catering facilities and cleaning services. Your responsibilities cover supervising task execution through contracted partners, ensuring strict compliance with Newmont's standards in personnel management, safety, and health. Furthermore, it is imperative to guarantee that all accountable activities are carried out in a secure, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Our ideal candidate possesses over 10 years of pertinent work experience in comparable leadership positions, complemented by a robust background in Commercial or Contractor Management. Proficiency in navigating company and departmental systems, including but not limited to SAP, Optimum, Downtime Reporting, and Power BI, is highly regarded.
