What is a Multi-Aged Educator? 

Multi-Aged Educators (MAE) hold a vital role within our services. They require; 

• Someone who can develop relationships with children, families and educators across multiple rooms and age groups
• A high level of autonomy, flexibility and energy
• Passion and teamwork skills for all teams and rooms 
• Support with all and any aspects of the day including routines, activities, planning and documentation
• An openness to learn the Montessori philosophy and curriculum across our 3 age groups

You may spend your day in one room or across many…

Who is the role of an MAE suitable for? 

• Anyone and everyone, with any experience and qualification level. 
• The role of the MAE is the most diverse in the service 
• A newly qualified educator with little or no experience as it provides the opportunity to experience each age group and learn each routine, as well as enabling the chance to get to know the whole team
• A  highly experienced leader who is looking to further develop their leadership and mentoring skills as it provides the opportunity to extend knowledge across multiple rooms and teams
