About the Role
As a Supervisor Assembly Technician, you will lead a team of 4-6, work closely with trained trade assistants, production technicians and Assembly Technicians which provide the final mechanical, technical and finishing support to our products before they leave our site. Your position has plenty of variety and if you are an analytical thinker, you will enjoy leading and working in this team each day!
To be successful in the role:
- Trade Qualifications – Mechanical Fitter or similar
- 2-3 years of Supervisory experience in a similar industry in Mechanical Fitting or Production Assembly
- Ability to prepare materials for fabrication/manufacturing and assembly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to lead a team and be part of that team
- Intermediate level of computer skills, and some use of production/manufacturing software
- Current Forklift or Dogman High Risk licence (advantageous)
- Ability to interpret engineered drawings for assembly purposes
