Supervisor Condition Monitoring

Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth

This position is within the Engineering Department of our Ore Processing Plant Facility at Solomon Mine Site. The role leads a team of Condition Monitoring Technician and Lubrication Analysist and reports to the Superintendent of Engineering and Reliability.

• To lead a team of Condition Monitoring and Lubrication Technician
• Coordinate and supervise daily and weekly planned Condition Monitoring & lubrication activities.
• Providing subject matter expert knowledge to Reliability and Maintenance Teams
• Support investigation, fault finding and drive continuous improvement.
• Providing safety leadership to effectively identify and manage technical risks across Fortescue.
• Achieving targets set for defined sections of area budgets.

• TAFE / Cert III or IV equivalent or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in condition-based maintenance role, inclusive of online Condition Monitoring and analysis
• Minimum ISO Category II Vibration Analyst or equivalent
• ISO Certified Category II Lubricant technician (MLT/MLA certification)
• Ultrasonic Thickness Inspection UT Level I certification
• Thermography Level I certification
• Ultrasound Level I certification
• Experience with Motion Amplification is ideal.
• Asset Reliability Practitioner – Engineer (ARP-E) certification
• Intermediate/Advanced MS Office suite experience is required.
• SAP skills are a distinct advantage.
