The Role
KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd, are currently seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to join Shutdown Projects just outside of Mackay.
Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent Maintenance, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of trade/technical staff to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient achievement of operational and business outcomes
- The repair and maintenance of mine site equipment and electrical installations such as Draglines/Shovels/CHPP/MCC/conveyor systems and other associated plant
- Driving safety behaviour including leading by example
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and industry standards and practices for all electrical work
- Ensure that all persons undertaking specified tasks have the required level of skills and knowledge to conduct the task safely and efficiently
- Proactive support of HSE onsite including investigation, reporting and management
- Conducting prestart, toolbox meetings and proactive safety initiatives as required
- Overseeing quality of work produced to ensure compliance with Kaefer and client requirements
- Providing regular feedback on performance to team members
- Ensuring regular reporting expectations are met for the client and Kaefer
About You
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the Resources industry
- Relevant Trade Qualification - QLD Electrical License
- Current LVR/CPR
- Strong commitment to safety, understanding and commitment of HSE best practice and compliance
- S1, S2, S3 and/or ability to obtain G2
- Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry
