About the role:
The Mining team is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join the team.
Reporting to the Superintendent Production, you will be responsible overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production team. Ensure that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and sustainably. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Duties:
- Support production teams to meet production targets and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental policies, fostering a safety-first culture.
- Monitor production operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and resolve operational issues.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide training and development opportunities to staff.
- Prepare and review production reports, ensuring accurate data recording and analysis.
- Allocate resources effectively, including equipment and personnel, to achieve optimal production outcomes.
Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of mining operations and equipment.
- Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
