About the role
We are looking for a Supervisor Site Communications to join our Utilities Coast department. The role will oversee maintenance for our Site Communications and mining systems assets across Cape Lambert, Dampier, Seven Mile, and Robe Valley sites.

Reporting to the Superintendent Site Communications and working in a challenging and exciting environment within Utilities Maintenance department you will:
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes
- Provide safety and technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to a team of Site Communications technicians carrying out specific inspections and maintenance activities
- Complete daily inspections of all work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to develop a safe and efficient work culture
- Ensuring that maintenance is of a high quality and re-work is not required
- Use SAP to raise and approve notifications, maintain team capacities and ensure maintenance activity information is captured
- Support all aspects of HSEQ compliance, auditing, education and management of the HSEQ
- Work with the Reliability Engineering team to drive continuous improvement projects which include cost saving and production efficiency projects
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A technical background in either IT, communications systems, mining systems, robotics or a similar field would be seen as advantageous
- Mobile radio network experience (Wi-Fi) and a good understanding of IP based protocol
- Driven to succeed and are committed to championing safety in the workplace
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach, mentor and develop a team members
- Customer focused with a collaborative approach
- A current Manual C Class driver's license
- Strong proficiency in SAP or similar software would be advantageous
