About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Wood Machinist to join our Timber team. Working as part of a small team you’ll be responsible for overseeing, controlling and setting the moulder to achieve product and service targets. This position is unique and plays an integral role in supporting the effective operation of the business.
Reporting to the Timber Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the activities of supervisors and employees with disability. Provide mentorship, support, guidance and encouragement
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of our operating procedures to increase the safe delivery, storage and processing of our timber materials
- Ensure that all Timber products meet the necessary quality standards and participate in the continuous improvement process
- Utilise your knowledge of WHS to identify and report hazards and ensure the wellbeing of all people in the workplace
