What you'll doThe Supplier
Capability and Insights Senior Specialist exists to support the execution of programs or initiatives to improve Trade Partner capability, particularly in relation to Joint Plans with our Trading Partners as well as tracking performance against Joint Plan targets. The role also exists to help build capability through the implementation of tools and training for our Commercial teams and our Suppliers to better utilise Woolworths data tools (including Supplier Connect) to help unlock insights and achieve growth. The role will partner closely with the Commercial team and the wiq consumer team.You will be responsible for the overall performance and delivery of insights and capability building by bringing the right people together to deliver on programs whilst role-modelling the Woolworths Values.
- Implement the Supplier Capability Plan including programs and tools to achieve improvements in our supplier relationships
- Define, deliver and improve joint plans between Commercial and Trade partners
- Implement capability improvement training programs for Commercial Teams to help them build best in class joint plans
- Build strong relationships with the Commercial Team to deliver mutually beneficial programs and platforms
- Track progress against Joint Plan targets and provide support for Commercial teams
What you'll bringThis is a newly re-imagined role and we are looking for someone with great energy and a can-do solution-oriented attitude. This role will allow you to put your own creative flair on things and come up with new innovative ideas.You will be a self starter, passionate about innovation and enjoy the rewards and challenges of out of the box thinking. You will also be responsible for the overall performance and delivery of supplier insights and capability building by bringing the right people together to deliver on programs whilst role-modelling the Woolworths Values.
- Planning and continuous improvement skills including using data and system to track business performance
- Understanding of how to create meaningful insights from data to build joint business plans
- Running/delivering training/capability programs
- Retail experience particularly in buying, category management, data to deliver performance outcomes Experience & Qualifications
- 3-5 yrs experience - University degree in marketing or business
