AddressDroneShield (ASX:DRO) provides Artificial Intelligence (AI) based solutions for protection against advanced threats such as drones and autonomous systems. The company offer customers bespoke counterdrone (or counter-UAS) and electronic warfare (EW) solutions and off-the-shelf products designed for multi-domain operations. Our customers include military, intelligence community, government, law enforcement, critical infrastructure, and airports globally. DroneShield has an office in Virginia, USA and Sydney, Australia. Globally, there are 130 employees.
The Company is looking to recruit a Operations Executive who will be a critical member of the Operations team. On offer is exposure to an entrepreneurial and dynamic company with a highly motivated team, who have a great attitude and take ownership of the responsibilities assigned to them.
The position will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with various divisions within the business as well as external stakeholders. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and agile individual with a desire to develop their operational knowledge in a fast-growing ASX defence technology company which has been ranked within the Australian Financial Review Fast 100 list for 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operational activities
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure successful delivery of all objectives as outlined in the Operations Roadmap
- Manage projects within the Operations function
- Support the scale-up of all areas of the business including: Facilities, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Pre- and Post-Sales Support

- Proven track record of success in challenging environments
- High attention to detail
- Ability to think and work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team
- Ability to work outside of core hours on occasion
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Have a “can do” attitude and willingness to help in variety of tasks, including occasional tasks unrelated to the core role- we’re a growing company and “everyone sweeps the floor”
