Primary Job Function:
- Manage the end to end process of S&L
- Manage Supply and Logistics of incoming stock and automation of month end reporting
- Ensure adequate stock distribution and to ensure stock is available at our ports for distribution across ANZ
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain stock levels in line with demand and customers' expectations
- Manage logistics services - freight (ocean, air, surface), warehouse, 3PL
- Periodic reporting and analysis both locally and globally
- Review, prioritise and move stock as needed in various accounts and distributors
- Liaise with ALOG/NOLA on day to day stock issues and enquiries
- Update changes to the supply plan via the weekly publish
- KPI tracking & trends - distributors as well as internal
- Excess & obsolescence reporting
- Forecasting to ensure adequate stock levels held in depots
- Send weekly backorder reports for AU & NZ
- Managing inventory in cooperation with our distributors
- Stock release monitoring and approval to manage products on scarce status
- Managing stock expiration and pricing
- Monitor incoming shipments & MAS conformance
- Working with Demand Planning team on all risks to supply stability
- Develop, streamline and improve supply function within the business
- Acting as first point of call for our sales teams on stock situations and resolving issues including stock movement between depots according to FEFO rule
- GS1 management
Education/Experience/Knowledge required:
- Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain Management or similar field – highly desirable
- Project Management Qualification – highly desirable
- Background in demand/supply planning or complex analytical and numerical roles
- Dealt with supply to traditional food route channel and convenience market in Australia
- Potentially have experience in dealing with short shelf life stock
- Experience in dealing with a large numbers of SKUs
- Developed knowledge of inventory management software, spreadsheets and databases and be proficient in computer based programs specifically Excel
- Excellent relationship management skills
- High level of analytical skills
- Enthusiastic self-starter
