FMCG Business - Management Role - $90-100K + Super - South Sydney - Permanent

Your new company 
Join an Australian FMCG business with a global presence in a permanent role as their Supply Chain Lead. You’ll gain a managerial role in the team in South Sydney with opportunity for an immediate start.
Your new role 
In your new role as Supply Chain Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

• Leadership of the Supply Chain team across planning and logistics, while managing the relationships with key external providers including suppliers, transport providers, freight forwarders etc.
• Management of the end-to-end Supply Chain function, across Supply Chain planning, import/export logistics, storage, and distribution, while achieving excellent DIFOT levels.
• Ownership of the S&OP process for the business, engaging key stakeholders across commercial, operations, and finance, while driving continuous improvement throughout the Supply Chain function.
• Ensuring cost-efficiency throughout through optimisation of inventory holdings, service level agreements with logistics partners, all while maintaining necessary compliance procedures.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated understanding of Supply Chain planning, logistics, inventory management, and warehousing.
• Experience within a fast-moving environment i.e., FMCG, manufacturing, pharma will be highly regarded, ideally within a global Supply Chain.
• Demonstrated customer focus, backed by excellent communication abilities, and a proven leadership skills managing small-to-medium sized teams.
• Good systems competency, with ERP systems exposure, and mid to high-level MS Excel aptitude.
