This exciting opportunity is working for an award-winning business with a fantastic reputation in providing a wide variety of products and services across Air & Ocean Freight (Import and Export). This multi-faceted business requires a passionate leader who is looking for an opportunity to work for an organization where they can make a real impact for both its customers and its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing excellent support and leadership to the NSW team
- Driving a positive, inclusive and high performing workplace culture
- Leading and supporting the management team onsite (10+ direct reports), 100+ indirect reports onsite.
- Overall operational and financial responsibility for the NSW business.
- Ensure the NSW business achieves all Cash, P&L targets.
- As part of the Executive Leadership team nationally you will ensure a strong execution of companywide standards, operational performance, safety excellence and commercial outcomes.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders, your team and key customers in the market.
- Ensure a strong overall customer experience across operations, customer service, sales/ account management for all Air & Ocean freight services (Import & Export).
- Explore and identify growth opportunities in people, performance and operations.
- Drive a strong safety & quality culture across the business.
- Work with procurement to engage & negotiate with external suppliers who provide a high quality and reliable service.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement across all systems, processes and procedures. Whilst also ensuring best practice training & induction is provided to all team members.

- Related Tertiary Qualifications (Supply Chain/ Logistics) preferred.
- Experience Working in a large multi-faceted business environment.
