The Operations Team is expanding in response to increased production quantities and product complexity. DroneShield is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager whose responsibilities will be critical in helping the business run smoothly during its next phase of growth.
The position will report primarily to the Operations Manager. They will work closely with the Production Team and other members of the Operations Team. Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations
Management oversight of the day-to-day running of the Supply Chain department
Manage a team of 7 experts in the areas of Procurement, Inventory and Logistics. This team will be continuously expanding over the next 12 to 24 months
Implementation of Supply Chain processes and procedures
Ensure a continues supply of components to internal and external manufacturing sites
Coordinate fulfillment of multiple concurrent purchase orders
Build processes to scale the business through its next stage of growth. Manage rapid organizational change
Ensure Supply Chain processes are followed and improved over time
Maintaining the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Analyse sales forecast and align Supply Chain capacity accordingly
Establish and maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Develop strong, reliable channels of communication with stakeholders from a range of technical and cultural backgrounds
We are a global business. Stakeholders are located in different time zones. There is a requirement to work outside of normal business hours

Knowledge of engineering or technical environments (preferred)

Is required to hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
