An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing technology manufacturing business as their Supply Chain Manager in their team based in Sydney.
Your new role
In your new role as Supply Chain Manager, you’ll lead, train, and develop the team across all Supply Chain functions including planning, inventory, purchasing and logistics. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Management of day-to-day Supply Chain operations, ensuring adequate and timely supply of materials to manufacturing facilities to facilitate on time production.
- Implementation and improvement of Supply Chain processes, constantly seeking ways to optimise operations and drive efficiency across the department.
- Analysis of production forecast to inform capacity planning throughout the network, while ensuring all processes are accurately reflected within the ERP system.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders in cross-functional departments, both in the local team, with external providers, and the business globally.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain management role, leading a medium-sized team, ideally within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes, covering logistics, purchasing, supply planning, procurement, and inventory management.
- High-level systems skills, with deep ERP systems experience, paired with excellent communication skills, able to influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency is a requirement to be considered for this role.
