We are looking for a Supply Chain Officerwho is ready to be responsible for planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining all purchasing, Supply Chain, warehouse receival and distribution requirements. This is a newly created position to join our team in Loganholme.
This position is full time and reports to the National Supply Chain Manager
Responsibilities:
- Determine key Supply Chain KPIs
- Suggest solutions for process improvements and cost reductions
- Identify supply bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Choose, build and maintain good relationships with vendors including determining their ability to continuously supply M&P’s
- Management of the site materials budget
- Liaise with supervisors/managers on the day to day operations to ensure material supply is consistent with the production plan
- Liaise with QA/QC to ensure vendors are a suitable choice to supply materials according to the M&P Supplier Validation
- Where necessary, implement procedures for direct import purchases, their documentation and supply timelines
- Liaise with suppliers and transport in respect to all requirements, documentation etc within the whole Supply Chain
- Manage the allocation of freight and additional expenses, such as testing and treatment with respect to cost of goods
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential
- Minimum 3 years experience in Supply Chain and preferred but not essential within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Understanding of accounting and finance.
- Hands on experience with Supply Chain management software preferably SAP B1
- Proven problem solving ability.
- An ability to read and understand the Supply Chain agreements.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
