Amazon Australia's Supply Chain team is looking to hire an experienced Program Manager to join the long term planning team. You will be a natural self-starter who is able to translate the long term vision for Amazon operations into a strategic and tactical topology plan. This will require a true hands-on approach, solid stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills.

You will have a true hands-on approach, understanding of operations, solid leadership skills and the ability to build and leverage relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. As this position involves regular interaction with senior leadership you need to be comfortable communicating robustly at that level whilst also working directly with various functional teams and team members at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business.
Key job responsibilities
- Owning the fulfillment topology program, including development of 3-5 and 7+ year horizon on building needs, locations, sizes, and types
- Collate Business Requirements inputs to ensure we build and design the buildings to our requirements of what the business needs short and long term
- Work with multiple stakeholders across various Supply Chain functions like real estate, engineering, launch, finance, operations, sales and operation planning
- Develop and implement ideas to drive continuous improvement by simplifying the process, creating additional value, and driving automation
- Write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals, performing your own data analysis as necessary
- Utilize problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenge with minimal supervision

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
