Your New Role
The Supply Planner plays a crucial role in developing and executing supply plans for a portfolio of products, ensuring the delivery of customer requirements. This involves analysing demand, actual orders, lead times, and inventory levels.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for.
- Develop inventory plans based on demand inputs and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure inventory management aligns with business objectives;
- Maintain capacity plans and production schedules to meet inventory, service, and cost objectives
- Analyse and update supply chain master data elements impacting the supply plan;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide regular updates on inventory projections and lead supply review meetings;
- Monitor inventory levels, service levels, and surplus/obsolete inventory;
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address changes to the supply plan and solve shortage scenarios;
- Develop capacity assessments and identify ways to improve supply planning processes; and
- Support new product launches and/or discontinuations to meet customer expectations.
To qualify for this role, you must have
- Relevant degree in Planning, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or Commerce;
- Preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience in planning and supply chain management;
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other planning tools;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong stakeholder engagement skills;
- Strong problem solving skills; and
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
