We are seeking an individual who demonstrates exceptional supply chain management skills and a strong drive to join our team as a Supply Planner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple business units and play a crucial role in ensuring flawless supply planning and inventory management.Reporting to the Senior Demand Planner, you will be responsible for monitoring and mitigating supply exceptions at a country level while tracking and reducing gaps between inventory and customer demand specifically within the import markets.Apply now and seize this exceptional opportunity to make a difference in the healthcare industry as a Supply Planner at Baxter Healthcare Corporation.Responsibilities:Coordinating the procurement of finished goods from upstream manufacturers worldwide, utilizing ERP systems to maintain optimal inventory levels within budgetary constraintsEffectively managing schedule agreements and purchase orders within SAP, using MRP skills to adhere accurately to forecastsRegularly reviewing spare parts requirements and drive in the required inventory to fulfill firm customer ordersEffectively communicating supply challenges to colleagues within the company, sharing estimated delivery schedules and working together to find suitable alternatives when neededProviding shipment ETA's and maintain a register of inbound replenishmentCollaborating with the Senior Demand Planner to support the monthly demand cycle, providing input on demand plans and highlighting potential revenue risksMaintaining all relevant documentation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Key Requirements of the role include:A minimum of 2-4 years of related experience in supply chain management, distribution, logistics, transportation, customer service, or inventory planningTertiary degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related fieldsStrong analytical skills and the ability to judge when to deep dive into dataExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively manage relationships with various individuals and teams in a globally dispersed and complex organizational structureStrong technology skills across MS Office Suite and ERP systems, with proficiency in SAP, JDE, RapidResponse, or all three being highly advantageous.Why Baxter?At Baxter ANZ, we are focused on being a Best Place to Work where our people can be their authentic self, feel valued and respected.
