Heathgate is a unique resources company using advanced technology to source, extract and export high grade uranium, contributing to a global clean energy future. Our low-impact In-Situ Recovery (“ISR”) mining method was an Australian first and we continue to be the industry leader in ISR mining. We are currently in a growth phase with a major wellfield expansion project in progress.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for Supply Superintendent to lead a team ensuring the smooth flow of equipment and materials inwards and outwards. This is a role where you can make significant positive impact to site operations. Working closely with the Head of Supply Chain and Warehouse Supervisor, you will be involved in supplier relationship management, inventory management, productivity and system process improvements.  

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar procurement / logistics role, preferably in the mining industry or similar.  
You will also have; 

  • Understanding of the challenges of supply chain operations in a remote site environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with departments to meet supply needs and improve processes.
  • Ability to identify cost saving and productivity improvement opportunities.
  • Experience with efficient warehousing and inventory control procedures.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and problem-solve.
  • ICT proficiency and experience with ERP software (TechOne experience an advantage)
  • Ability to lead a small warehousing team and freight sub-contractors.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Procurement (preferred not essential).
