We seek a reliable logistics and support officer to work as part of our Pearling Engineering Team to assist with the direct support of our pearling operations.
Key responsibilities:
The Logistics and Support officer - Fleet and Farms is responsible for the daily support required by the pearling production operations which encompasses a multitude of tasks. As a company representative and with your requirement to attend various locations throughout the day, it is necessary to present a neat and tidy appearance.
The person we seek will work in a team to plan and priorities the logistical requirements of Farms, Vessels, Pearling Engineering, Head Office, and VIP trips as required and directed;
Co-ordinate and assist the loading and unloading requirements of vessels, trucks and freight to Mallard aircraft
Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, order discrepancies and receipting of invoices
Maintain pick-up folder to ensure purchase order pickups are undertaken in a timely manner to meet priorities.
The successful candidates must:
- Hold a current driver’s license, MR HR an advantage.
- Be able to pass a Pre Employment medical
- Be a resident of Darwin or willing to relocate.
- Hold a current High Risk Forklift Ticket and Dogman
- Hold a Construction White Card
- Dangerous Goods awareness and general stores/logistics knowledge.
- Have permanent residency and full work rights to be considered for the role.
