Nambour Early Learning Centre is dedicated to cultivating a holistic and nurturing approach to the early education sector. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Lead Educator & Educators who wants to contribute to the success of our young citizens and become apart of our family!
At Nambour Early Learning Centre our vision is to provide our young citizens with rich, challenging learning opportunities through authentic engagement and relationships with all children, families and the wider community.
Nambour ELC is a family-owned service, providing exceptional care and high-quality education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We provide spacious, well-resourced, stimulating learning environments that enable educators to build strong, meaningful relationships with children and are supportive of children’s strengths and interests. We Support Educators unique teaching pedagogies and individual philosophies, and empower educators to share their uniqueness across the service.
Our established service caters for up to 94 children and operates from 6:00AM, to 6:00PM. With the service running at a high occupancy, our educators are rostered for the maximum weekly hours.
We are closed over the Christmas period, as we believe that our team deserve time to relax and refresh at the end of each year.
About your new role:
At Nambour Early Learning Centre we are a professional early childhood education team dedicated to creating quality, child-led learning programs where children feel valued and safe. We adopt a holistic approach to children’s learning through our inspired environments, rituals, and experiences.
We are looking for a Lead Educator and Educators who ‘think outside the box’ and honours individuality and creativity. The successful applicant should be committed to engaging with children and families in a variety of ways to facilitate their individual learning styles and show a commitment to continuing their own ongoing research and professional growth.

A little about you:
You’re an experienced Lead Educator or Educator who is passionate and dedicated to high-quality care with a collaborative leadership style. Your philosophy is focused on encouraging our children to be independent learners and help build their resilience and self-awareness. You utilise conversations with the children to develop their inquisitive minds and therefore creating the basis of your program and the children’s learning journey with us. You are excited at the prospect of career growth and progression.
You also have:
- A Diploma and/or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education
- A current Working with Children Check
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- An ability to interpret curriculum documents
- Australian Working Rights
- Excellent personal presentation
- Confidence in collaborating with our families and the local community
- A growth mindset with the willingness to contribute to the decision making of the service.
