Programs are provided for all age groups in a beautiful natural bushland setting on the Central Coast of NSW.

About the role
We are seeking 2 x suitably qualified and experienced persons with energetic and can-do attitudes to be our Support Program Facilitators. This is initially offered as a casual position with the view to become permanent part-time as programs increase. Program Facilitators are required to be onsite for the duration of the camp, (sharing day and night shift roster).
- You will assist in the running of Support Programs for people living with disabilities.
- Coordinate and facilitate programmed activities.
- Manage and assess DSW staff and report on their capabilities.
- Ensure that participants are delivered the care that they need and are monitored by DSW staff according to ratios specified in their service agreement.
- Document and report all incidents according to Camp Breakaway Incident reporting standards.
- Engage with participants, parents, carers, and staff in a respectful manner.
- To complete all check lists and follow all procedures as instructed by the Support Program Coordinators.
- Attend briefing meetings.
- Administration duties as instructed by Program Coordinators.
We would like to hear from you if you possess the skills and attributes to perform the following tasks:
- Prepare/organise programs for adults with varying degrees of disability, from those requiring basic assistance to other needing total care. These programs run for 4-5 consecutive days.
- Assisting to create an appropriate camp budget; delegation of running workshops; collaboratively selecting a viable mix of participants for each program; communicating with all selected participants, their carers/families; volunteers; potential committee members and appropriate Breakaway staff.
- Ensuring all participants intake forms are collated;
- Participating in program committee meetings.
- Problem solving, rostering, management of volunteers, carers and entertainers or workshop hosts.

Skills and experience
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications, such as in: Health; Social ; Disability or Community Services, minimum two years working under the nominated qualification or extensive previous experience in Disability Care.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS business rules and administration processes.
- Experience in rostering and and management of human resources.
- Experience in managing a budget.
- Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet and database management skills.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
- NSW Drivers Licence and own motor vehicle.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Experience and ability to problem solve and prioritise when under pressure.
- Good phone manner.
Desirable Criteria
- Prior experience creating and implementing professional Support Programs.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administration role in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of the quality and compliance obligations of disability providers.
- Demonstrated understanding of NDIS Provider Digital Access System (PRODA).
