Position Overview: As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities and/or injuries. Your responsibilities will include providing personalised care, assisting with daily activities, fostering social engagement, and promoting a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. These roles will be based within our clients homes/the community
Currently seeking Support Workers to support clients in
Manly- Car and licence required. Start date approx 3rd July
Monday 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm
Tuesday 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm
Wednesday 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm
Thursday 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm
Friday 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm
Saturday 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm
Sunday 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered support tailored to individual client needs.
- Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage social participation and community engagement.
- Administer medication and monitor health as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Report writing and documentation
- Transportation for clients as required

Requirements:
- Strong empathy and communication skills.
- Experience working with people with congenital disabilities or severe injuries
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
