The Opportunity: Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Corinella. You will be responsible for support a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Drivers Licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
What shifts are we offering? We are currently offering the below shift on an on-going basis, we are not offering active nights OR sleepovers.
- Thursday: 10.30am - 12.00pm (Personal Care) 12.00pm - 4.00pm (Domestic Assistance)
