The Opportunity:Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability
Support Worker located in Lyndhurst. You will be responsible for support a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
- Assistance with transfers requiring manual handling
To be successful in this role you will have:- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support
- Experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Drivers Licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
What shifts are we offering?
- Fridays 6.30am to 12.30pm (Permant on going)
- Wednesdays 6.30am to 12.30pm (Occasional)
- At times afternoon shifts 6pm to 11pm (PC)
Please note, this is a hydrotherapy session which requires you to be in the pool with the clientAdditional hours can be picked up in surrounding suburbs.
