Join a team that focuses on delivering a timely, coordinated, client centred and culturally appropriate response to women and children affected by family and domestic violence.
Working as part of a broader service system that includes police, courts, child protection, non-government organisations, you will:
Support and stabilise women with complex needs before they access crisis accommodation
Work with women in the community, including those living with the perpetrator, to support safety including via alternative accommodation options; and
Support Case Workers to provide ongoing practical support and case management to women and children including those who have exited refuge to the community, to promote their safety and prevent breakdown of their accommodation/housing arrangement.
This is a part time (15 hours per week) opportunity until 30 June 2025 and is based in Albany.
What you will bring
You are a passionate and talented individual who wants to be part of a team who delivers quality services to our clients. To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or related discipline, or diploma level qualification with relevant experience, or sufficient relevant experience
Ability to engage and build strong relationships with clients who have been impacted by family and domestic violence
Experience providing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders (ATSI) and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) clients
Up to date knowledge of resources in the local area
Ability to work in a team and independently across the local region on regular outreach
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check and WA Driver's Licence.

A competitive salary from $70,196 per annum [pro rata] + 11% superannuation
Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
