AddressHome Caring Glenelg is an ethical and fast-growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services in Glenelg and surrounding regions.
We are seeking Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to clients and participants currently engaged in either Home Caring Packages or NDIS.
Our support staff work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.
Main responsibilities and activities may include:
- Provide personalised support and care to clients in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks as outlined in the care plan
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and well-being
- Communicate effectively to ensure clear understanding and comfort for the client
- Reporting changes in health or behaviours
- Driving to appointments and/or other allied health services
Requirements
- A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly
- A genuine want to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- A background working with mental health and challenging behaviours
- Understanding of the NDIS and/or Aged Care framework and its principles
- Must have own vehicle for taking clients to shopping or appointments if needed
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centered focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances

- Worker Screening check
- Current First Aid certificate
