Role Overview:
Join our NDIS team in making a difference! We're seeking individuals to support communities in achieving their NDIS goals. Assist people in regional locations, fostering well-being and independence. Key Responsibilities
- Develop practical insights into individual goals and aspirations.
- Implement personalised plans effectively.
- Customise service offerings and procedures as needed.
- Build an understanding of person-centred approaches.
- Assist customers with practical needs and expectations.
- Adopt a flexible approach to meet diverse requirements.
- Utilise knowledge of available supports and services.
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrate experience in providing community support or possess relevant training in the field.
- Ability to offer one-to-one client support.
- Experience in handling clients with complex issues.
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate with stakeholders for client success.
- Ability to identify and utilise community resources effectively.
- Understand disabilities and mental health challenges.
- Knowledgeable in relevant legislation and NDIS pathways.
- Possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in conflict resolution techniques.
Requirements for the role
- Hold a minimum Cert III in Community Services or a related field.
- Hold a current National Police Clearance.
- Hold a current DHS Working with Children Check.
- Have a current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Possess a valid SA driver’s license.
