About the role
We are looking for an experienced Sustainment Engineer - Integration with NV2 security clearance to be part of an exciting Defence project to start in July 2024 for a period of 3 years. Reporting to the Sustainment Engineer - Lead, the Sustainment Engineer - Integration is responsible for ensuring high availability of all DDG provided networks and boundary devices supporting F-35 IS.
About you
Responsibilities and Key SFIA 5 Skills:

• Overseeing conduct of daily health checks and management of reporting dashboards.
• Providing engineering support to incidents and problems including liaison with other Service Towers across the F-35 and DDG enterprises.
• As directed by the Sustainment Engineer - Lead, Sustainment Engineers are responsible for the management/delivery of approved Work Packages to support the introduction of new/upgraded capabilities to the F-35 Enterprise.
• Provision of SME support to RAAF stakeholders as directed by the Sustainment Engineer - Lead.
• Providing specific support to work packages to facilitate ACSPO lead activities, including attending workshops, supporting the development or review of design and engagement of DDG or external SME to support as required.
• Leads the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.
• Ensures that appropriate tools and methods are available, understood and employed in architecture development.
• Within a change programme, leads the preparation of technical plans and ensures that appropriate technical resources are made available.
• Provides advice on technical aspects of solution development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied correctly.

Requirements:

• NV2 essential.
• Minimum 5 years experience ideally with Defence or Federal Government.
• Any previous experience with MPI Air 6000 (F-35 Lightening) a distinct advantage.
• Indigenous and First National candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
• SFIA level 5
